The Makers Space

The Makers Space, is situated within a charming stone building near the Agios Neophytos Monastery. Since its inception in September 2019, The Makers Space has firmly established itself as a pivotal hub for ceramic artists in Cyprus. It regularly hosts diverse exhibitions, showcasing works from artists across the island. The Makers Space advocates original, contemporary ceramic art and has a growing local and international presence.

Additionally, it serves as a noteworthy professional teaching facility with regular workshops and activities, tailored for both children and adults. The Makers Space provides local and visiting ceramic artists and potters with access to a well-equipped professional studio and gallery, enabling them to practice their craft, teach, exhibit their work, or simply unwind and foster their passion within a warm, welcoming and supportive community.

During Ksoporti Art Weekend, the Makers Space will showcase a group exhibition titled “This is Me” with emerging and established ceramicists including Andreas Fasoulides, Andriana Yemetta Kedariti, Celia Macpherson, Christina Ison, Eirene Constantinou, Jill Demetriou, Lee-Anne Raw, Leni Loizou, Marina Kotidze, Michal Daniely, Michèle Ansermet Papadopoulos, Mikey Christofinis, Renzo Brandsma, Tatiana Vasilyeva, Vera Parlalidou, and Xanthia Constantinou.
