Iryna Manukovska is a Ukrainian interdisciplinary artist, born in 1984. She works as an essayist and a painter, and has her own studio in Paphos. Through her practice, she explores coincidences, connections, and relationships between physical phenomena and aspects of daily life such as emotions, doubts, fears, and personal growth.
Manukovska aims to recreate the interconnectedness between mental states and the physical world that envelops us. To achieve this, she mainly uses oil due to its ability to convey vivid and diverse shades. Additionally, she also employs impasto techniques and various forms to construct symbols that operate on a subconscious level. In her paintings, Manukovska invites the viewers to form their own interpretations while providing them with a guiding framework—a tailored essay accompanying each artwork. Behind each piece lies a question, fostering internal reflection and dialogue through interaction.
Manukovska has taken part in exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad, and her works are held in governmental, private, and corporate collections in Ukraine, Cyprus, Spain, and Malta.
