Anastasia Krivenko is a visual artist primarily working in the soft pastel technique. She is a member of The Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts (E.KA.TE) and The Pastelguild of Europe.
Krivenko's artistic passion revolves around capturing the transitional moments of nature, particularly the border states and various times of the day that evoke profound inner emotions. She finds endless fascination in the perpetual movement, variability, and ephemerality of nature, which serves as the cornerstone of her artistic expression.
The diverse landscapes of Cyprus, ranging from coastal vistas and multi-tiered valleys to cascading waterfalls and wooded mountain trails, provide an endless reservoir of inspiration for Krivenko. In her paintings, she prioritizes the articulation of her personal feelings and impressions over strict naturalistic representation. Consequently, light and color emerge as the central elements in her compositions.
Krivenko actively participates in local and international exhibitions, such as the Art & Research Group Exhibition “Awareness 2023”, supported by the Deputy Ministry of Culture, Nicosia, Cyprus; and the International digital biennale “The Wrong Biennale”, where her work was featured in the Digital Collectivity and Rituals pavilion; and the 6th Annual Online International Exhibition of Pastel Paintings "Pure Color” by The Pastel Society of North Carolina ("PSNC"), held in North Carolina, USA.
